Making Things Happen 2010 was an incredibly awesome experience. Grab a cup of coffee and a blanket - this is 9 minutes long. I had lots to say and share thanks to Lara Casey, Jeff Holt and Kyle Barnes. The main lesson: think hard, be introspective, feel the FEAR and DO IT anyway. Now off to tackle this beast of a change I'm making to my business. Stay tuned! So. Fired. Up.

There is something so empowering about being transparent, sharing your strengths and struggles and being comfortable with your own skin, your own brand and your own style. Emily, I'm so glad you posted this (as I would have loved to have been at the first MTH in Watercolor with you all!) I've been struggling for the last year and a half to find what it is that makes me TRULY happy, TRULY inspired, and that I can be TRULY successful at. I know that photography is an absolute part of that puzzle, though there's much more that I'm eager to integrate.
I think 2010 is the year that I really need to sit down to think LONG and hard about where I'm going. Even your 9 minute video blog is a motivational kick in the pants that helps me to realize I need to stop twiddling my thumbs and start believing more in myself (and what I want to do.) I have so MANY distractions that need to be gotten rid of in order to re-align my focus!
Can't wait for this new year and I'm really hoping and praying it'll be the fresh start I need to get moving forward!
